Selous Retreat is situated in a remote part of the Selous Game Reserve where there used to be hunting, so the animals tend to be rather skittish.
A luxurious lodge in a beautiful location, however the game here is not as good as in the Siwandu area.
This is a pleasant camp in a remote location to the west of the main game areas. The staff are friendly and it is run efficiently.
Mivumo River Lodge has all the creature comforts of a hotel so is not suitable for anyone wanting an authentic wilderness experience.
Rufuji River Camp is located in the Selous Game Reserve near the Mtemere Gate. It offers very good boating safaris on the hippo-covered Rufuji River.
Jongomero is located in Ruaha National Park, just below the centre of Tanzania. It is one of the most remote camps in the country – a real favourite of ours.
Kwihala Camp is located in Tanzania’s Ruaha National Park. This tented camp has earned its reputation as one of the best-value camps in the country.
