Lake Masek Tented Camp
Lake Masek Tented Camp is in an excellent location for game-viewing as the Big Five can be seen throughout the year, and the Great Migration passes through from mid-December to March.
Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp
Mbuzi Mawe is comfortable, good-value, and has a great location, but does not offer the same authentic safari experience to be found in many other tented camps.
Kirawira Tented Camp
Serena's Kirawira Tented Camp is located in the western Serengeti. It is part of the Serena Hotel chain, but slightly more upmarket than most of its other tented camps which tend to cater for the upper-middle-market packaged safari customer.
Serengeti Simba Lodge
Serengeti Simba Lodge is located just outside the northern Ikoma gate into the Serengeti National Park.
Singita Mara River Tented Camp
This property is first rate for travellers seeking luxury accommodation in the north of the Serengeti, with superb access to the Great Migration from July to early November! There’s a minimum age requirement of 10 years.

Lemala Ndutu Camp is a luxury camp that moves down from the north of the Serengeti for the months of December to March to watch the Great Migration.
Moving between two remote locations within the Serengeti, this camp provides a comfortable base for Great Migration viewing! Children aged 5 years and older are welcome, but there is no accommodation specifically for family use.

Nasikia Naona Moru Camp
Naona Moru Camp is situated in the central region of Serengeti National Park. Its name derives from the Moru Kopjes close to camp and it enjoys an elevated position overlooking the rippling plains!
Serian’s Serengeti Mobile Kusini
Kusini is open from 15th December to 1st May and situated on the very edge of the plains of the Serengeti, providing amazing opportunities to witness the calving season of the Great Migration.
Kaskaz Mara Camp
Kaskaz Mara is situated in the far north of the Serengeti, close to the Mara River. It is perfectly placed to observe the Great Migration from July to October in addition to abundant wildlife all year round!

This lodge has a very good location and is both spacious and comfortable, however it does not give the more personal experience offered by some of the smaller lodges.
Olduvai Tented Camp is at its best from January to March, when the Great Migration passes through but can also be used as a base to explore some of Tanzania's culture.
Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Rhino Lodge lacks the comforts and polish of the more upmarket lodges in the area, but it is a reasonable lower-cost alternative with close access to the Crater floor.
Bougainvillea Safari Lodge
Bougainvillea Safari Lodge is located right on the outskirts of Karatu, perfectly positioned for exploring both the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park.
Tloma is modelled on its sister property Ngorongoro Farm House. It provides well-priced accommodation in a peaceful area on the eastern wall of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater! Children of all ages are welcome.
Kitela Lodge is located at the top of a valley in the Karatu region. It boasts spectacular views of a waterfall, a coffee plantation, and the Ngorongoro Crater’s eastern wall.

Little Oliver's Camp
Little Oliver’s Camp is the little sister of Oliver’s Camp and is situated in the remote south-eastern reaches of Tarangire National Park.
We find Mawe Ninga rather basic, but it is relatively inexpensive and has some great views.
Tarangire Balloon Camp
Tarangire Balloon Camp is great value for this level of accommodation, one that is getting superb reviews.
Little Chem Chem
This small camp offers luxurious accommodation and an exciting variety of activities! Children aged 8 years and older are welcome, and there’s no minimum age requirement when the property is booked for exclusive use.
Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge
This tented lodge provides a superb base from which to explore Tarangire National Park. The accommodation is spacious and guests enjoy a great range of activities.
Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp
Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp is situated on top of a cliff overlooking Tarangire National Park.
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is located in Lake Manyara National Park, northern Tanzania. It is the most luxurious lodge in the park.

Escarpment Lodge is located on top of the Rift Valley, with superlative views over Lake Manyara.

Serena's Lake Manyara Safari Lodge is larger than most of the other lodges we use, but is particularly suitable for children.

Maramboi Tented Camp is situated within a private concession close to both Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park. Guests are able to explore both areas!

Lake Natron Camp enjoys a spectacular location on the grassy plains overlooking the southern edge of Lake Natron. Due to its eco-friendly values and interest in the local community, the camp has a truly authentic feel.
Beho Beho is the most luxurious property in the Selous Game Reserve – and one of our favourites in all Safari Africa! Children aged 12 years and over are accepted, and access for disabled persons is available on request.
Sand Rivers Camp

Lake Manze Camp
With its amazing atmosphere and elephant wandering through daily, this is one of our favourite camps in Tanzania! Children aged 6 years and over are welcome, and management is happy to discuss options for anyone with particular needs.
This is a classy and great-value tented camp, with one of the finest locations in the Selous for wildlife viewing! Children aged 6 years and older are welcome, and access for disabled travellers is available on request.
Selous Impala Camp
Impala is a nice little camp, offering excellent value. It is particularly good for boating safaris.
Selous Serena Camp
This is a pleasant camp in a remote location to the west of the main game areas. The staff are friendly and it is run efficiently.
Rufiji River Camp
Rufuji River Camp is located in the Selous Game Reserve near the Mtemere Gate. It offers very good boating safaris on the hippo-covered Rufuji River.
Suitable for first-timers and old safari hands alike, Jongomero is one of the most remote camps in Tanzania and occupies a wildlife-rich region of Ruaha! There’s a minimum age requirement of 6 years.
