When to Visit Zimbabwe
The best time to see Victoria Falls in full spray is from February to July. It’s especially impressive between March and May, when the water volume is at its highest.
June to October is the ideal time for a safari. The dry season offers superb wildlife viewing as animals gather around waterholes and vegetation thins out. October can be very hot.
The rainy season runs from November to March. Some camps close due to accessibility issues, but this is a brilliant time for birdwatching, lush landscapes, and photography.
Zimbabwe is all about the adventure and the variety of ways in which you can view game. Most famous for its photographic hides, which allow you to get up close and personal with elephant, the country offers arguably the best walking and boating in Africa. It is the perfect destination for someone looking to experience more than standard game drives.
