When To Visit Arusha:

"Without doubt one of the best properties in Arusha! Expensive, but you get what you pay for here... a great option if it can be afforded!"

This truly is Arusha’s most luxurious property. If you are looking for all the comforts while in the area, you cannot go wrong with Legendary Lodge. The lodge is located on the outskirts of Arusha with impressive views of Mount Meru; however, if you are looking for a little bit more value, we would suggest Rivertrees.

Approximately one hour from Kilimanjaro Airport and five minutes from Arusha Airport, Legendary provides a great base for people looking to explore Northern Tanzania.

With just ten garden cottages, this is one of the smallest properties in Arusha. Each room has a private veranda with stunning views of Mount Meru. The accommodation has been beautifully designed in an African style, combined with western comforts and old colonial luxury.

Built on a working farm, Legendary Lodge uses fresh vegetables from the old farmhouse and produces quality gourmet meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • There are a number of recreational activities on offer here, including a fully equipped gym with an aerobic studio, sauna, steam room, and tennis and squash courts.
  • Alternatively, guests can go on external excursions to cultural heritage sights and Arusha’s city centre.
