This trip includes not only the Okavango Delta and the predator-rich Linyanti region to the west of Chobe National Park, but also the Kalahari Desert. We use superb camps located in private reserves.

This safari is designed around three fantastic small properties. We start with the exceptional Selinda Explorers Camp in Linyanti before moving on to Shinde Camp in the Okavango. The trip then ends with two nights exploring the unique environment that surrounds Kalahari Plains. These are high-quality camps, offering a very good all-round safari. In our opinion, they are the very best in this price bracket.

Days 1–3 The Linyanti

Selinda Camp - Luxury Safaris Botswana (6).JPG

We start with three nights in the exceptional Linyanti region. Home to three of Africa’s finest private reserves, this is a first-class big-game area that’s famous for privacy, exclusivity (the major reason for the increase in cost over our value safari), and some of the best game viewing on the continent. Selinda Explorers is the camp we have cherry-picked for these three nights; it's an exceptional authentic tented camp.

Board basis and activities:
Selinda Explorers is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives by day and night available as well as walking safaris and mokoro (subject to water levels) – all included in the price.

Your home for the next three nights is Shinde Camp in the Shinde Reserve, an outstanding property that we’ve used for years.
