OVERVIEW:
Stays typically last two or three nights and are often combined with nights at either Tena Tena or Nsefu Camp at the start or finish of the trip. This is a great camp for someone who is keen to experience the incredible walking safaris for which the South Luangwa is renowned. However, if you are looking for the full walking experience, we would recommend Robin Pope’s 5-day Mobile Camp.
ACCESS & LOCATION:
Luangwa Bush Camping takes place in the Nsefu sector of the South Luangwa National Park.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT LUANGWA BUSH CAMPING:
All tents come with a mattress on the ground, sheets and bedding, while the 60-litre bucket shower and bush loo are communal. Meals are enjoyed around the campfire or under the stars.
ACTIVITIES AT LUANGWA BUSH CAMPING:
- The simple bush camp holds a maximum of four guests and focuses on exploring the Nsefu sector of the South Luangwa by foot.
- Guests have an unbeatable experience of the bush with one of Robin Pope’s finest guides.
*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
