It combines three owner-run and -managed camps – Chundukwa River Lodge in Victoria Falls, Flatdogs in the Mfuwe sector of the South Luangwa, and then Chikoko in the remote northern section of the South Luangwa. The price below is based on two adults travelling together and please note that the prices are approximates. Please contact us for accurate costings for the time of year you are looking at travelling. There are multiple season changes across the year and numerous rooms categories that can change the price of these safaris.

Prices include all internal flights, transfers, reserve fees, accommodation and meals as specified in the day to day itinerary. Price excludes international flights, tipping, visa and any meals not included.

Days 1–2 Victoria Falls

The trip starts with two nights at Chundukwa River Lodge, which is just 24 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls. This is the perfect base, as you are surrounded by lush forest on the banks of the Zambezi but only 20 minutes away from the ‘Falls’ itself. The chalets are all built on stilts with traditional thatch roofs, and they boast spectacular river views.

Board basis and activities:
Chundukwa River Lodge is booked on a fully inclusive rate with a full day tour of the Falls and a sunset cruise included.

Days 3–5 South Luangwa – Flatdogs Camp

From Livingstone you will fly on to Mfuwe, where we suggest three nights at Flatdogs Camp, on the banks of the Luangwa River. This camp has a fantastic vibe to it. As it has about 12 rooms, there are always guests around the fire in the evenings, sharing safari stories.

Board basis and activities:
Flatdogs Camp is booked on a full board basis with scheduled safari activities included. Timings of the drives and walking safaris are all discussed with you on arrival into the camp.

Days 6–9 South Luangwa – Chikoko Tree Camp

RAS CHIKOKO TREE CAMP NATURAL CHALET WITH A VIEW

Transferring deep into the north of the South Luangwa, you are now entering the remote walking camp, Chikoko Tree Camp. This is one of the purest walking experience we know. With only three rooms built up in the trees, it will always be a personal experience.

Board basis and activities:
Chikoko is booked on a fully inclusive rate with all meals, local beverages, and all walking safaris included. Your programme will be discussed with you on arrival into the camp.

On Day 10, you will fly back to Lusaka in time for your international flight home.
