Occupying 155m2 and home to 86 per cent of the country’s population, Mahé is the largest island of the Seychelles. It is situated in the north-east region.
Praslin is the second largest island of the Seychelles, with a surface area of 38km2 and population of approximately 6,500. It is situated 44km north-east of Mahé.
La Digue is the third largest inhabited island of the Seychelles and the fourth largest island overall – after SilhouetteIsland, north-west of Mahé.
