With probably the finest views in Africa, and certainly the most iconic view, Angama Mara is your base for the four nights that you are in the Maasai Mara. ‘Angama’ in Swahili means to be suspended in mid-air and you will really feel like you are on top of the world thanks to its floor-to-ceiling glass windows and 180-degree vistas that sweep down towards the wildlife plains. Angama Mara has a private access road into the exclusive Mara Triangle, one of the best managed Mara conservancies, and these last few nights of your trip will focus on the Great Migration and great number of mammals that reside in this area – 450 bird species, two million migrating wildebeest and zebras, and an entourage of predators that follow.
