"On the banks of the Zambezi river in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, close to Victoria Falls, this luxury camp gives you breathtaking views out over the river and access to all the local activities. This is a great place to relax before or after the safari portion of your trip."

OVERVIEW:

Owned and operated by one of Africa’s finest companies, Wilderness Toka Leya is very similar to many of the company’s Botswana safari camps and is just as efficiently run. However, if you are continuing on to one of the company’s safari camps, you might have a slight feeling of déjà vu, as they tend to be quite alike.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

Wilderness Toka Leya is situated within Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Livingstone.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT WILDERNESS TOKA LEYA:

It has one of the best locations of any camp in the area – the views are absolutely stunning. The main area is extremely spacious, with a large open lounge and a dining room. Outside, there is an infinity swimming pool, and a lovely decking area looks out over the river.

Wooden walkways link the main area to the 12 rooms. These are very comfortable safari-style tents, beautifully furnished and decorated in earth colors, and with large beds and good ensuite facilities. Each room has a private decking area where guests can relax and watch the mighty Zambezi flow by.

WILDERNESS TOKA LEYA ACTIVITIES:

The lodge’s rate is fully inclusive of activities such as game drives in the park, a trip to Victoria Falls (on the Zambian side), river cruises, fishing excursions and nature walks. Helicopter flights are extra!

*This property is unfenced and although animal densities are not that high along this stretch of the Zambezi River, there is always the potential for dangerous game. So if you opt to stay here please always be cautious and look out for wildlife when walking around, especially at night.
