Seychelles Family Vacations
The Seychelles is fantastic for families! If you are thinking of treating yourselves to the ultimate trip to the seaside, this is it.
Where to go in Seychelles on your family safari
Travelers to the Seychelles can opt to stay on the inner islands of Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, or on the outer islands, such as Denis, Desroches, and Bird. Alternatively, you might like to consider the best of both! Our recommendations for Seychelles family holidays consist of one large resort on Mahé and one ultra-luxurious property on North Island. Both Mahé and North are inner islands, but they can certainly be included in an itinerary featuring the outer islands too!
Mahé is the Seychelles’ largest island and famous for its selection of sumptuous properties dotted around the coast.
Family-friendly accommodation in Mehé
Constance Ephelia occupies approximately 120 hectares of forest descending to two fabulous beaches. In fact, the resort is so enormous that its communal buildings are spread over two sites and guests can travel by buggy between them! With five restaurants in total, there is something to suit every set of taste buds. There are also five bars, five shops, a spa village, a fully equipped gym, a sports centre, and four pools!
Guest accommodation at Ephelia comes in eight categories, from the relatively modest Tropical Garden View Room to the Presidential Villa! All options are very comfortable, with all mod cons. The garden rooms sleep just two people, but the next category, Junior Suite, has enough space for either two adults and one child or one adult and two children. The Senior Suite is plenty big enough for a group of three – if you are a family of four or more, you could consider a Family Villa, Beach Villa, or even the Presidential Villa! The villas come with their own pool and loads of other amenities, such as an outdoor dining kiosk. Please get in touch with us for all the details.
Ephelia also boasts a great range of activities! If you love your watersports, you will relish opportunities to go windsurfing, kayaking, pedalo-ing, and catamaran sailing free of charge, with diving, scuba diving, and deep-sea fishing possible at extra cost. Landsports are available too – tennis and squash are played on the resort’s own courts. If you fancy taking a trip to other islands, staff members are happy to organise this. You can also hire bikes and check out Mahé. But most importantly, Ephelia has an ace kids club! This is for youngsters aged from 4 to 11 years. You can register your children to join at any time while you are here. The club provides access to a swimming pool, an outdoor space for rushing around, open play areas, computer stations, arts and crafts classes, and so much more! Babysitting is also provided. The Constance Kids Club is the main reason why we think Ephelia is so fab for families.
