"Probably my favourite of Desert & Delta’s camps in the country! A stunning position looking over an action-packed waterhole, literally one of the best locations and lounge views in Botswana."

OVERVIEW:

The camp sits on the banks of the Stolen River, part of the Savuti channel. This is an area with large concentrations of wildlife, especially elephant, lion and zebra.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

Savuti Safari Lodge lies in Chobe National Park in northern Botswana.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT SAVUTE SAFARI LODGE:

The main lodge is two-storey with a library, lounge and bar, all overlooking the river. Outside there is a large viewing deck, an alfresco dining area, and a swimming pool where guests can relax on loungers.

Accommodation is in 12 comfortable, thatched chalets with sliding glass doors and private decks. They are decorated in neutral colours with colourful rugs, and each has a combined lounge/bedroom area and an en suite bathroom with shower. Safari Lodge is a friendly, well-run lodge at a very reasonable price. Recent feedback has been particularly complimentary, with praise for the hosting, guiding and food.

ACTIVITIES AT SAVUTE SAFARI LODGE:

Game drives take place twice a day, and visits to the San rock paintings at Gubatsa are possible.
