Chobe under Canvas, along with its sister camp Savute under Canvas, are very similar to the mobile camps of East Africa. They are both a very good choice for clients looking for adventure but still wanting their comfort.

OVERVIEW:
This mobile camp stays at secluded campsites in the wilderness along the Chobe River and moves its location every five days in order to comply with Chobe National Park camping regulations. This enables guests to explore completely different game areas and camp close to resident game.

ACCESS & LOCATION:
This is a great little camp in a very remote area, giving guests a wonderful opportunity to explore some of the wilderness around them. Chobe was declared a National Park in 1967. It was Botswana's first ever national park and is home to massive herds of elephant and buffalo.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES:
Guests are accommodated in six spacious and extremely comfortable tents with double beds and en suite facilities with a separate toilet and an alfresco bucket shower. (Hot water is provided on request) Tented guest areas are erected at each site to give shade where guests can relax during the heat of the day or share a drink in the evening.

The standard of food and service is extremely high. Delicious meals are cooked over a campfire and served under the stars, while guests have their own private butler to attend to any of their needs.

ACTIVITIES:
The guiding is also particularly good. Chobe under Canvas is run by &Beyond, which always guarantees a high level of accommodation, food, service and safari.

"If a classic mobile tented camp is your style of property then look no further – Chobe Under Canvas will deliver every time. I love this property, especially due to the quality of &Beyond’s guides and operations as a whole. Just be careful in October the tents can get sweltering!"
