Kiba Point is a great little camp. It is the perfect choice for a small group wanting to enjoy a safari in total privacy.
ACCESS & LOCATION:
Kiba Point is set back from the Rufji River and sits a mile downstream from its prestigious sister camp, Sand Rivers, yet is totally independent of it.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES:
It has a large central "mess" with a spacious lounge/dining area with a library of books, a bar and comfortable sofas and chairs where guests can relax. Outside there is a large swimming pool and a deck.
Accommodation is in four spacious cottages made of stone and thatch, raised and entirely open at the front so that guests can enjoy river views. They are light and airy with cool and elegant interiors, extremely comfortable beds and planter chairs. Each has a deluxe bush bathroom, with hot and cold water, a flush toilet and both indoor and outdoor shower. Outside there is a large deck with a private plunge pool set into the edge of it.
A small team of staff and guides look after your group and help you plan your activities each day and decide between going on a game drive, bush walk or motorboat safari. Alternatively, you can simply relax back in camp with a good book.
The great advantage of having the exclusive use of the camp is that everything is arranged for the group's convenience – to go on game drives when and where you want, get up early or sleep in late, eat your meals at a time that suits you...
