Welgelegen Guest House is situated on a quiet residential street, a short distance from Cape Town’s lively Kloof Street. Guests arrive at Cape Town International Airport, and it’s a 20-minute car ride from there to the hotel.

Welgelegen Guest House offers 16 en-suite guest rooms categorised as mini, standard, superior, and superior family rooms. The design creates the atmosphere of an elegant private residence, featuring crisp linens, cosy throws and cushions, tasteful artwork on the walls, and patterned wallpaper. The mini rooms are the most affordable option, ideal for single travellers or those on a budget. There are two standard rooms, each equipped with a queen-size bed and a shower. The larger superior rooms feature an extra-length king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds, with some rooms also including a bath. Additionally, the two superior family rooms come with an interleading room for children, accommodating groups of three or four guests. All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, an electronic safe, a mini-bar, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, drinking water, a telephone, a hairdryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Some rooms also have double doors that open onto a balcony.
Welgelegen Guest House has a leafy inner courtyard with a comfortable seating arrangement, where guests can relax after busy days exploring the city.
