ACCESS & LOCATION:

Access to the hotel is via road transfer from Mombasa’s Moi International Airport (2 hours 30 minutes) or from Malindi Airport (30 minutes). 

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT HEMINGWAYS WATAMU:

Once you have arrived, you will be able to take time to relax in the new open-plan restaurant, bar, and reception area. There is also a deluxe spa and gym, in addition to a botanical swimming pool and, adjacent to the restaurant, a few water features!

ACTIVITIES AT HEMINGWAYS WATAMU:

Ernest Hemingway came to the coast with the intention of fitting in some serious game fishing, and the hotel is famous for the quality of its game-fishing centre complete with four boats. Guests are also invited to enjoy diving and snorkelling from the nearest beach, watching dolphins, setting sail on a dhow cruise on the tidal inlet Mida Creek, and playing golf at Vipingo Ridge, a world-renowned course close to Watamu. Day trips to Tsavo National Park and the Maasai Mara can also be arranged.
