Ellie Ray

Ellie has spent a lot of time exploring North America, from exploring the Grand Canyon in Arizona to working on a summer camp in Maine. She has also visited some fantastic European countries, with her favourite cities including Copenhagen, Oslo and Symi Island in Greece. Her first role in the travel industry was for a travel association before joining Yellow Zebra in 2026.

Ellie’s Recent Travel Experience

Ellie recently visited Indonesia where she explored the island of Bali, experiencing a beautiful sunset performance at Uluwatu Temple, the local markets of Canggu, and the most memorable experience, hiking Mt. Batur at sunrise. Ellie also ventured over to the island of Gili Trawangan in Lombok to enjoy some secluded island life, cycling round the island, and some incredible snorkelling with turtles.

Ellie’s Most Memorable Experience

It is hard to narrow it down to just one for Ellie, but a few come to mind… the first being a special family holiday to Barbados, watching her parents get married on the beach (even though it did rain!), secondly, breath-taking views in Yosemite National Park in California, and lastly, experiencing the hot springs in Iceland!

Ellie’s Bio

Ellie grew up in West Sussex before moving to Hertfordshire to study Tourism Management at the University of Hertfordshire. Ellie also spent some time living in America whilst working at a summer camp in Maine, where she met fantastic people from all over the world. Ellie has been working in the travel industry since she left university, working for a travel association, where she learnt invaluable knowledge of the industry from various tour operators and travel agents. However, Ellie soon came to realise that her passion for travel would be better suited working for a tour operator, helping travellers experience the best possible holiday! Ellie is excited to put her previous operational experience to good use in the Concierge team and is even more excited to begin exploring Africa.
