“528 Victoria Falls is a contemporary guesthouse just 3km from the entrance to the Falls. Perfect if you are looking for a smaller, more boutique property.”

528 Victoria Falls is privately owned and run, by Paul and Meredith with their friendly team. The accommodation includes two triple rooms, and the double rooms are available with a king-size bed or twins. A stay here is booked on a B&B basis, and the guesthouse is open all year round.

The guesthouse is accessed via two-and-a-half kilometres’ road transfer from Victoria Falls Airport. It’s situated in a serene suburb, just three kilometres from the world’s largest waterfall.

Guest accommodation consists of seven rooms, including two triple rooms for friends or family use. All are impeccably styled, with king-size, twin, or triple bed/s, bedside tables and lighting, ample storage space, and well-appointed en-suite facilities. In-room amenities include air conditioning, a tea-and-coffee station, a safe, and a hairdryer. Services comprise same-day laundry and daily turndown.

The communal areas at 528 Victoria Falls are equally well presented, featuring murals, wall carvings, and various bespoke items created by local artisans. In the lounge, you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating, while the dining room provides a welcoming setting for the property’s delicious cooked-to-order breakfasts and cold spreads. You can also enjoy spending time in the rooftop bar, indulging in your favourite tipple while appreciating views including the mighty River Zambezi! Sunset vistas are particularly breathtaking from here. 528 has beautifully kept gardens too, and a very inviting swimming pool with sun loungers alongside.

The camp will provide some classic safari activities, as follows:

  • Falls tours

    - Always a great start to any stay in the Victoria Falls region, expertly guided tours of the waterfall provide a fascinating introduction to The Smoke that Thunders. Walks can include the lush rainforest, the dramatic gorges, and the statue of David Livingstone, who was the first European to see the Falls.
  • Wet-and-wild watersports

    - Opportunities to get the adrenaline pumping abound here! Among the Falls thrills available are white water rafting, bungee jumping, canoeing, zipwiring, gorge swinging, and a dip in Devil’s Pool, the pool positioned precariously at the top of the waterfall.
  • River cruises

    - Perfect for taking time to relax and simply enjoy being in this spectacular part of the world, cruises appeal to all types of traveller. As you drift along the Zambezi, you’ll spot predators and herbivores alike coming to drink on the banks as well as the likes of crocs and hippos swimming in the water. You can also lookout for a wealth of waterbirds!
  • Helicopter flights

    - See it all from the sky, by boarding a helicopter and flying over the Falls area. Usually, two flights are offered. One involves a back-and-forth journey above the waterfall before a pause to bank and marvel at the gorges, while another longer flight provides views of Zambezi National Park too!
