Savuti Camp has long been regarded as one of the finest small camps in Botswana.

OVERVIEW:
This famous camp has a tangible character and undeniable charm, along with excellent guiding and game viewing. It retains an intimate charm that is the envy of other camps. We think it’s hard to match!

ACCESS & LOCATION:
The camp sits on the banks of the Savuti Channel within the private Linyanti Reserve in northern Botswana.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES:
The seven ensuite rooms are spread along the banks of the river. Each comprises a spacious walk-in tent, raised off the ground, with decking outside where guests can relax in the heat of the day, gazing over the grasslands of the Savuti Channel.

The camp is connected by raised wooden walkways that run throughout. There’s a large viewing area in front of the thatched main lounge, bar area and plunge pool with wonderful vistas of the waterhole.

ACTIVITIES:
Activities include game drives at day and at night, as well as walking safari. Game viewing here is particularly good during the dry season, as the waterhole in front of the camp is the only source of water in the area. It attracts an abundance of wildlife, including elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and all the plains animals.

"A brilliant, classic safari camp but one whose reputation has disappeared somewhat into the shadows of the newer Duma Tau and Selinda Explorers. Savuti however remains absolutely first class…well worth travelling to if the others mentioned are fully booked."
