"One and Only is a monster of a building commanding attention at the top of Cape Town's popular waterfront. The location is undeniably brilliant and the property itself carries the high standards of the One and Only brand."

OVERVIEW:

One&Only Cape Town is, of course, owned and operated by One&Only, a company running luxurious resorts all over the world. Winner of numerous awards and accolades, One&Only prides itself on iconic locations and sky-high service standards – and the resort in Cape Town is considered one of the finest properties in its portfolio! Various rates are offered, so please contact a member of the YZ team to discuss your requirements. The resort is open all year round.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

The resort can be accessed via 25 minutes’ road transfer from Cape Town’s international airport. It’s situated right on the famous V&A Waterfront, with the majestic Table Mountain in the background.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT ONE&ONLY CAPE TOWN:

Guest accommodation consists of 131 rooms and suites, across ten separate categories. The majority (91) are found in Marina Rise, the resort’s crescent-shaped building, while the remaining 40 are found on a secluded landscaped island at the center of the property. All options are exquisitely styled in a contemporary manner, and the main difference between them is the size. Within Marina Rise, this ranges from 63 square meters for the rooms to 383 for the Presidential Suite, while the island categories start at 73 and extend to 254. Views vary too, with guests choosing to admire either the waterways or Table Mountain from a private balcony. In-room amenities include a 42-inch flatscreen satellite television with DVD player, a multimedia entertainment system, a tea-and-coffee station, a safe, an iPod docking station, bathrobes, and a hairdryer. And all en-suite washrooms are very well appointed, with at minimum flush toilet, twin washbasins made of marble, and an egg-shaped bath with shower attachment. Both Marina Rise and the island offer two-bedroom options that are suitable for families.

As you’d expect from a large resort, One&Only Cape Town boasts an immense selection of lounges, bars, and restaurants. In common with the guest accommodation, these have plenty of modern flair. Vista Bar & Lounge offers a laidback location with panoramic vistas of Table Mountain, while the Wine Loft, complete with tasting room, is ideal for guests with an interest in fine wines! Restaurants Reuben’s and Nobu showcase Cape and Peruvian influences respectively, and Isola provides Med–SA fusions, poolside. Keep-fit fans can enjoy a work-out at the well-equipped fitness center and anyone in need of a little pampering can head to the resort’s lovely private island spa. With a gallery also included in the communal amenities, not to mention conference facilities and the island’s heated infinity pool, One&Only Cape Town really is very well set up overall. And the vibrant V&A Waterfront, with its shops, eateries, and museums, is just meters away!
