This is a good affordable option inside the park, but the lodge’s location near to the Mtemere Gate means that game drives can get very busy, unfortunately. We prefer Lake Manze as the affordable option in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous).

A good location and a very competitive price will always draw in clients. However, I rarely use Rufiji due to better alternatives in the price range, Lake Manze for example.

These provide basic accommodation yet come with all the necessities. The suites, however, are newly furnished and come with a private plunge pool. They are a luxurious option, compared with the standard tents.
