Kusini Serengeti is a year-round wildlife destination, and big game is frequently sighted right around the camp. Massive elephant bulls traverse the woodlands, buffalo herds gather on the plains, and you’ll almost certainly encounter giraffe. Ease into the morning with a hot cup of coffee before setting out on an early game drive to explore the southern Serengeti. Your day concludes with an afternoon spent wildlife viewing, finished either with sundowners in a scenic spot or with the welcoming glow of Kusini’s campfire.
Kusini Serengeti is located in a remote, off-the-beaten-track area well suited to walking safaris. Your expert guide will point out plenty of interesting details, including predator tracks, fresh animal spoor, special birds, and lizards basking in the sun. These are intricacies not visible from a vehicle, and feeling the earth beneath your feet brings you closer to nature in a different way from the game drive experience.
Listen out for a distant lion roar, the whoop of a hyena, or a chorus of cicadas, while enjoying an atmospheric bush dinner under a huge night sky – the perfect way to end a day on safari.

Kusini Serengeti is located in the less-explored south-western part of Serengeti National Park. Access is by light aircraft arriving at Serengeti Kusini airstrip, followed by a 15–20-minute drive to the camp, perhaps longer depending on what you see along the way.

Simple, yet furnished with all the essentials, amenities include mosquito nets, a fan, a charging station, and an electronic safe. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom featuring a flush toilet and a shower, and hairdryers and dressing gowns are supplied. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available.
