As with all the Mushara properties, activities at Villa Mushara are focused on guided vehicle safaris, either in the private reserve or in Etosha National Park (morning and afternoon drives in Etosha). Within the reserve, there are spectacular photo opportunities, with waterholes sometimes just a few short steps away.
You can sit on your private terrace and look out at scenes of elephant, springbok, leopard and lion coming by the waterhole for refreshment – or get those binoculars out and take a look at some of the most exotic birdlife in Africa!
As Etosha is just 8km west of Villa Mushara, you are in the perfect location to set off on a private drive into the National Park, taking in the sights and sounds of the Namibian wildlife before heading back to the sumptuous surroundings of your own private villa in the evening!
*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.

A big draw of Villa Mushara is the choice the property provides.
You can opt to remain within your elegant villa and surrounds for meals, a dip in the pool, and a relaxing time on the private terrace. Alternatively, just a stone’s throw away is the beautiful Mushara Lodge, a great place for meeting fellow travellers! As guests at Villa Mushara, you have access to all communal areas of the Lodge – these consist of a spacious and well-decorated lounge and dining space, an extensive wine cellar, and a curio shop. The Lodge is open all year. During the winter months, you might like to amble over at your leisure to sit in one of the comfortable sofas in the lounge area, pick up a book or a glass of whisky, and enjoy the warming fireplace. The Lodge also features an intriguing combination of traditional and modern pieces of African art, often a talking point for guests of both properties!

Each villa at Villa Mushara is stylishly decorated and fully air conditioned, providing a lovely sanctuary throughout your stay.
The accommodation features a spacious lounge with comfy sofas and chairs, a writing desk, a CD player, and a selection of tea, coffee, and some harder liquid refreshments at the drinks station. There is also a large and luxurious four-poster bed, complete with mosquito net. Each en-suite bathroom defines elegance, with chandeliers and candelabras surrounding a standalone bathtub. Outside each villa is a private terrace with superb views of the private reserve, an outside shower, a plunge pool, and even a day bed, ideal for an afternoon snooze!
