Motorboat and mokoro trips, birdwatching, fishing

12 luxury tents and 1 guest suite
Situated on the remote Xaxaba Island

There is very little dry land near the lodge, so all activities tend to be water-based and concentrate on enjoying the beautiful scenery, bird-watching and fishing. Outings are made on motorboats and mokoros (dug-out canoes), and guests can explore other islands on foot with an armed guide.

Game drives are possible when the water levels are low enough.

*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
