The suite names are derived from local folklore. Jua and Mwezi once lived as husband and wife, caring for their many children: the stars. In a scathing betrayal, Mwezi fell in love with a charming chef who arrived in the village and they fled the family to live their new lives together. Forever scarred by the lost love, Jua (the sun) chases Mwezi (the moon) to this day, ensuring that nightfall ends and dawn will always rise.
The total floor space of each suite is 70 square meters. Each boasts a king-size bed, fans and air conditioning, a desk, a sitting area, a TV and DVD player, a mobile phone, a mini-bar, a safe, mosquito nets, and a spacious private terrace. Each en-suite bathroom has a separate toilet, twin washbasins, twin showers, a bath tub, a vanity unit, and lovely views of the ocean. The bathrooms also come with a few free toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, bath cap, nail file, sewing kit, and hairdryer!
