Singita Elela is located on the Abu Concession in the Okavango Delta. Guests usually arrive from Maun by light aircraft, followed by a 20-minute game drive to the lodge.

Each accommodation at Singita Elela comes with its own dedicated vehicle and safari guide, giving you full flexibility for game drives. You’ll explore the 170,000-hectare concession at your own pace, where sightings will likely include large herds of buffalo, elephant, lion, African wild dog, and abundant plains game.
Walking safaris provide the chance to truly connect with nature while your guide points out the finer details. You’ll learn to identify animal tracks, spot rare bird species, and discover how everything from tiny dung beetles to predators at the top of the food chain plays a vital role in the ecosystem. Please note that the minimum age for walking safaris is 16.
Take to the skies for a scenic flight to view the Okavango Delta from above. It’s an incredible way to appreciate the scale of this massive landscape, looking down over the mosaic of winding water channels and open floodplains. Please note that this experience incurs an additional cost.
A mokoro is a traditional dugout canoe steered by a poler at the front. Exploring the channels this way is a classic Okavango Delta experience, albeit a seasonal one. You’ll glide along, brushing past reeds, watching dragonflies skim the water, and admiring brightly coloured birds as they dart past, all while watching out for game along the banks. Please be aware that the minimum age for mokoro excursions is 12.
Motorised boats are perfect for exploring the deeper lagoons and covering longer distances. You might spot elephants coming to drink at the water’s edge or beady-eyed hippos wading beneath the surface as you glide past. The minimum age requirement for boat trips is 6.
Spend a leisurely afternoon enjoying a spot of catch-and-release fishing. This is another memorable way to enjoy time on the water with your guide.

Singita Elela sits on an enormous, private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta, surrounded by a mix of water channels, floodplains, and mopane woodlands.
Immersed in this setting, the main lodge is designed as an inviting communal space with panoramic views, where you can wander into the interactive kitchens, check out the conservation lounge, or browse the boutique and art gallery. The lodge also features fitness and yoga spaces for wellness rituals, a swimming pool that’s heated in the winter, and a comprehensive wine cellar for tastings and pairings.
Amenities
Though still somewhat under wraps, Singita Elela will feature a series of exclusive-use camps, designed for total privacy and immersion, each with a dedicated vehicle, guide, tracker, arrival point, and camp manager.
Five of these are one-bedroom suites, with their own kitchenette, dining area, and lounge, and a pool that will be heated in winter. Outside, the decks and seating areas will overlook the surrounding landscape. In addition, there are two camps for family use, both with two identically sized en-suite bathrooms. Lastly, the exclusive four-bedroom villa is located a short drive from the main lodge, where families will benefit from ample indoor and outdoor space for social time, two private vehicles, a wine cellar, a fitness space, and a personal chef.
