OVERVIEW:

Victoria Falls Safari Club is owned and run by Albida Africa, which also operates the Safari Lodge and Safari Suites nearby. Albida has a superb reputation for improving the living standards of local communities while respecting the local environment, and the company’s portfolio features Chobe National Park as well. Safari Club has a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor! The price of your stay includes accommodation, breakfast, Wi-Fi, and a complimentary shuttle.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

The property is located only 15 minutes from the Falls. It’s usually accessed via 20 minutes’ road transfer from Victoria Falls International Airport. The Club occupies the same site as the lodge and the suites, but it is set apart from these options and tends to attract adult travellers rather than families.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI CLUB:

Guest accommodation consists of 16 Club Rooms and 4 Club Suites – the difference between these options is the inclusion of a separate lounge in each suite. All rooms and suites are found within two thatch-roof buildings, one on either side of the communal lodge. Every unit is furnished in a modern style, featuring clean lines and some interesting African artwork. The bedrooms are fully air conditioned and contain a double bed or twin beds with mosquito nets, bedside tables and lighting, a dressing table, a comfy chair, and sliding doors out onto a private balcony with breathtaking savanna views! Additional amenities include a ceiling fan, international multi-sockets, a tea-and-coffee station, a complimentary mini-bar, a digital safe, and free Wi-Fi. The en-suite facilities comprise flush toilet, washbasin, shower, and bathtub – and complimentary toiletries are supplied with all suites and rooms.

The communal lodge at Safari Club is another thatch-roof building, positioned between the two blocks of guest accommodation. Inside, there’s a split-level lounge and dining area, featuring comfortable seating around coffee tables, smart separate tables and chairs, and the property’s well-stocked bar! This space flows out onto a deck, which is perfect for tucking in to a tasty snack while marvelling at the scenery. Breakfasts, light lunches, and afternoon teas, as well as cocktails and canapés, are all offered in the lounge/diner – and you can even enjoy a free head-and-shoulder or foot massage with your teatime treats! Guests also have access to the restaurant, bar, souvenir shop, and swimming pool at neighbouring Safari Lodge (*Please be aware that the children's pool at the Safari Lodge is close to the deep end of the the adult pool, so young families should take extra care.*) – please visit our page on this property for details.

ACTIVITIES AT VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI CLUB:

The activities desk at Safari Lodge is also available for guests of Safari Club. Here, friendly staff members are happy to make recommendations and to book you on to an exciting variety of excursions and tours.

  • You could start with a guided tour of the Falls, a fascinating introduction to the world’s largest waterfall. Thrillseekers can brace themselves for a range of wet-and-wild watersports, including white water rafting, bridge slide, and bungee jump!
  • Victoria Falls National Park provides some super safari activities, such as game drives, elephant-back safari, and walking with lions. You can take a helicopter ride over the Falls for some truly terrific views, and embark on a river cruise to enjoy sightings of elephant, hippo, and some brilliant birdlife.
  • A complimentary shuttle service runs hourly between the lodge and Vic Falls, and you can also travel to The Boma – the Falls’ famous traditional restaurant – for fantastic food and entertainment every evening!
  • On-site activities are available too, including nature trails, viewing from hides, and the Vulture Culture Experience.

*This property is partially unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
