ACCESS & LOCATION: 

Located on the remote floodplains of the Kapamba River in the South Luangwa National Park, Zungulila is a classic tented camp from a bygone era.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT ZUNGULILA BUSHCAMP: 

There are four spacious thatch-and-canvas rooms featuring private bamboo verandas with impressive views. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers and there is a sunken plunge pool on each deck. 

The central areas have a communal dining area, lounge and bar, and there is also a sunken deck with a boma offering great views over the Muchinga Escarpment.

ACTIVITIES AT ZUNGULILA BUSHCAMP:

  • This is primarily a walking camp, but morning and afternoon game drives are on offer too.

*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
