The camp has been built to blend into the natural environment of South Luangwa National Park and has a very low carbon footprint.
ACCESS & LOCATION:
As this lodge is situated near the main ‘roads’ network in the park, it can be quite busy – but the game is normally relaxed. Sanctuary Puku Ridge has been built on a hillside and offers stunning views of the surrounding floodplain.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES:
The guest accommodation comprises seven tents. All have picture windows to provide views of the plains. Each large tent has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and indoor and outdoor showers. The outdoor showers are shaded by forest. Additionally, all tents have private viewing decks onto the plains – so wherever you choose to spend your time between game drives, you will have a great view of the floodplains.
The main areas of camp consist of a spacious living space and a dining room where most of the meals are served. If you require a private dinner, you can request this from the lodge. All main areas enjoy the stunning views of the floodplains.
The lodge offers morning and afternoon game drives and bush walks, with drives proving more popular due to the location.
