One of our favourite tented camps is Nasikia's Migration Mobile Camp. This adventurous little camp offers great value for money and bags of character. Its simple approach to safari still sees spacious rooms and en-suites; a level of comfort that surprises most travellers. Don’t underestimate this place, it’s a cracking camp that gets seriously good customer feedback. Direct competition to Nasikia are the likes of Kirurumu Serengeti Camp and a number of other simple mobiles however we've always believed that if you cant get into Nasikia then a step up is better than Nasikia's competition.
So, a step up from here in terms of luxury and cost and you have Lemala Mara; a great camp that’s worth the upgrade if you want to splash out slightly. Located right by the river some of the rooms have amazing views whereas others don’t. Long stay deals with the Lemala camps are always attractive at this price bracket; certainly worth that slight extra cost over Kirurumu etc.
Direct competition to Lemala Mara, however, is KasKaz – Nasikia’s newest property. This camp has a phenomenal location looking over a vast plain and huge rooms. We are very much split in the office as to the whether Kazkas is better than Lemala Mara...and would happily send you to either camp! Personally I'd go for the river location of Lemala Mara.
Stepping up in budget however is Serengeti Safari Camp which becomes very good value when clients are staying for four nights due to a four for three deal. Run by one of the best operators in the business it is the best camp to splash out on. There’s a little more on this camp in the Classic bracket, where a product this good belongs!
