"Wies Van der Meer was very patient and answered all of our questions"

Founded along the edges of the colossal Lake Victoria, Uganda's main cities include capital Kampala, and major towns Entebbe and Jinja.
The hub of commercial activity in Uganda, Kampala has a prime position on the very north of the lake. As one of the fastest-growing cities in the world, it is constantly expanding its reach. With a handful of museums and art galleries, the capital is a good stop-over option before or after a safari; however, just south of the capital is Entebbe, which is the ideal gateway to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the other side of Kampala, to the east, is Jinja, which is famous for being the historic source of the Nile river. Adventure-seekers will enjoy the activities on offer here, such as rating, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and quad biking!
