OVERVIEW:

The Last Word Long Beach Hotel is an excellent option for travelers seeking serene beachside accommodation with good access to Cape Town. Boulders Beach, famous for its penguin population, is about 12 kilometers away, and many other attractions are easily accessed from the hotel.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

Most travelers to this area, the Cape Peninsula, will transfer by road from Cape Town, having touched down at the Mother City’s international airport. Long Beach Hotel is set almost on the beach, which stretches for 8 kilometers with mountains providing a majestic backdrop. It is a modern building and offers free parking on site.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT THE LAST WORD LONG BEACH HOTEL:

The interiors include an open-plan lounge and dining area – this space features comfortable sofas, armchairs, poufs, and occasional tables, in a contemporary style. The palette is sky blue and neutrals, with a few plants for vibrant greens. There are chic separate dining tables too, with upright chairs in white wicker. This space flows out onto a balcony with additional lounge and dining furniture. Here, guests can relax while gazing out across the sands and over the ocean. The hotel also has well-kept gardens, and a gate leads directly to the beach, with its landmark lighthouse.

Guest accommodation at Long Beach Hotel consists of three suites and three rooms, all very well appointed. The rooms – all termed Superior Double – are found on the ground floor. They range in size from 36 to 50 square meters and include a separate lounge area, a complimentary mini-bar with snacks, a satellite television, a private patio, and en-suite facilities comprising flush toilet, twin washbasins, shower, and bathtub. One category of suite – Junior, one unit – is also on this level. Covering 90 square meters, this suite offers all the amenities of the Superior Double Room, and all downstairs accommodation enjoys access to a plunge pool. Upstairs, there are two Elegant suites, with lounge, telly, mini-bar, balcony, and full bathroom, and occupying 70 square meters in total. All rooms and suites are furnished in the same style as the communal spaces and boast beautiful views out to sea!

** For families with children under the age of 6 years, we always request a ground floor room or a room without a balcony for safety reasons. If you stay here with us, please ensure this is what you are given.**

ACTIVITIES AT THE LAST WORD LONG BEACH HOTEL:

Long Beach Hotel is well-placed to offer an exciting assortment of activities. The beach itself is perfect for walking, paddling, swimming, and horse rides. You can also explore the mountains on foot or by bike, via a number of trails. Whales may be sighted between July and November, so that’s the best time of year to visit for wildlife fans!
