OVERVIEW:

Built on the edge of a trout dam, Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse has fantastic views of the lake and mountains. It is owned by Richard and Mouse Poynton, whose family have been coming here on vacation for three generations.

ACCESS & LOCATION: 

Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse lies in the Kamberg Valley close to Giants Castle Nature Reserve. 

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT CLEOPATRA MOUNTAIN FARMHOUSE: 

The 11 rooms are built in converted stables. They are each individually decorated, although all have mohair blankets, Victorian claw-footed baths and beautiful views. Two of the suites have separate lounges and a third even has a "his and hers" bathroom.

ACTIVITIES AT CLEOPATRA MOUNTAIN FARMHOUSE:

The Farmhouse is well-known for its gourmet meals. Richard is an accomplished chef who delights in serving sumptuous 7 course meals, which he says are "all about the taste, fun and passion that goes into country cooking". Fortunately, the Farmhouse is situated in wonderful walking country, so guests can enjoy mountain walks to build up an appetite for the fabulous food!
