Bushmans Kloof is located in 7,500 hectares of protected land at the foothills of the Cederberg Mountains in the Western Cape.

OVERVIEW:
Nestled in the foothills of the Cederbeg Mountains, Bushman's Kloof is an elegant retreat in an ecological oasis. Located only 3 hours from Cape Town, this reserve is part of the Relais & Chateaux collection, a name that is synonymous with luxury and excellent service. 

ACCESS & LOCATION:
The lodge is accessed by road from Cape Town, which usually takes three-and-a-half hours – this is a spectacular drive and is well worth the travel time. Alternatively, if you prefer to fly in, there is an airstrip known as ‘Bushmans Kloof International’.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES:
Bushmans Kloof main lodge is made up of 16 rooms and suites. All have private patios with superb views of the reserve and convenient access to one of four swimming pools. If you are looking for the ultimate luxury at Bushmans Kloof, the Riverside Supreme suite is perfect, with its outdoor shower and heated private plunge pool on the deck.

For the ultimate privacy for your family or small group, the site’s private villa Koro Lodge has two bedrooms and a loft area that sleeps up to four children, and there is also a family area that can sleep an additional two guests. The villa has its own infinity pool, wrap-around deck area, private chef and host to attend to all your needs. The lodge is very well known for its amazing cuisine and an award-winning wine list featuring a vast variety from South African wines to French Champagnes. ACTIVITIES:
Test out some of the extraordinary dining experiences by requesting a picnic to take with you on your bike ride or hike through the reserve. Or, if you are hoping for a romantic dinner, ask the lodge to arrange a private evening meal at the river boma. There is an amazing array of activities on offer at Bushmans Kloof, from 130 rock art sites, to hiking, canoeing, fishing, archery, nature drives and walks. From July to October the area explodes with every colour imaginable as the flower season starts. The lodge also has an award-winning spa.
