The lodge is open all year round.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT PHINDA MOUNTAIN LODGE:

Guest accommodation consists of 16 standard suites, three family cottages, and a family suite. All are spaced well apart from their neighbors, and assistance for wheelchair users is available on request. Inside each standard suite, you’ll find a double bed or twin beds, bedside tables and lighting, a seating area, and ample storage space. The interior décor in general is sophisticated yet warm, with modern lines and a few local artifacts. In-room amenities include air conditioning, overhead fans, a telephone, a mini-bar, a safe, and a hairdryer. En-suite facilities comprise separate flush toilet, large washbasin with mirror over, walk-in shower, and bathtub. There’s an outside shower too, as well as a veranda with private plunge pool and amazing views! Each of the three family cottages is essentially two standard suites with an interleading door, and this option can sleep up to two adults and three children. And the family suite accommodates a maximum of four adults and four children, in four bedrooms. This suite also offers a spacious lounge and a very wide veranda. It doesn’t have a private plunge pool, but it’s conveniently close to the main lodge pool, with its own access pathway.

Additional pathways link all other guest suites and cottages to the two-story communal lodge, which is very well-appointed. It’s in the shape of a U, with a lovely central courtyard. All around the courtyard are contemporary lounge and dining areas, furnished in the same style as the accommodation. Comfortable sofas and armchairs surround coffee tables, and chic individual tables are set in readiness for delicious food and drink. Many internal spaces flow out onto decks, where guests can relax, eat, drink, and marvel at the views! The lodge also contains a well-stocked bar, library, and safari shop, and it can function as a conference venue. A brief stroll away, there’s a traditional boma where evening meals are often enjoyed. And from here, it’s another short walk to the shared swimming pool, with sunloungers and parasols alongside.

*Please be aware that we are unable to book this property for families with young children under the age of 6 years, for safety reasons relating to the balconies/decks/walkways.*
