When To Visit Winelands:

Avondrood Guest House is a 1870s Victoria building that has been beautifully restored in 2011 with an elegant style, staying true to its origins.

OVERVIEW:
This six-room guest house is run and managed by owners Caine and Justin, ensuring top-class service. The owners love fine art, so you will find all the rooms and main areas decorated with a contemporary selection of sculptures and paintings.

ACCESS & LOCATION:
Avondrood is located within walking distance of Franschhoek’s main street. The guest house is on the main Huguenot Street, so we would not suggest booking the standard room as it faces onto the road.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES:
The superior rooms all overlook the garden and the superior deluxe room has a private garden and terrace for that little bit more privacy. The guest house is surrounded by a well-manicured garden with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi for the summer months. The breakfasts are delicious, with homemade bread and pastries prepared daily to give you a great start to the day.

ACTIVITIES:
For self-driving clients, the guest house has secure off-street parking available. Avondrood is happy to book any extra activities, from wine tasting to evening dinner reservations.
