Its sister property, Azura Quilalea in the Quirimbas Archipelago is another contender for the top beach lodge in Mozambique, but there is no denying that this lodge offers the easiest access from both Johannesburg and the Kruger National Park region. ACCESS & LOCATION:
Azura Benguerra is located in southern Mozambique’s Bazaruto Archipelago and is accessed only by a spectacular helicopter flip over the azure waters.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT AZURA BENGUERRA:
The lodge is very contemporary in its style and was built entirely by local villagers who live on the island. It comprises fourteen rooms, consisting of three main room categories as well as two private villas. All accommodation is ultra luxurious, with each suite and villa boasting private access to the pristine beach, with its own private beach sala.
