The style is modern, with clean edges and finishes, but a splash of Africa resides in many of the color schemes and artwork. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and contain a double bed, in addition to bedside tables with lamps, coffee table and comfy seating, tea- and coffee-making facilities, direct dial telephone, flatscreen television, safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, and gorgeous fresh flowers. • Guests who like a little culture love visiting the Karen Blixen Museum or some of the fascinating boutique arts-and-crafts shops.
  • If hiking is your thing, the dramatic Ngong Hills make for a great day trip – and there are lots of opportunities to see wildlife as both the Langata Giraffe Sanctuary and the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage are close by.
  • And there is also Nairobi National Park, its sprawling plains and riverine forests home to all Big Five animals as well as giraffe, zebra, gazelle, eland, impala, baboon and hippo. The birdlife is just as impressive, with over 500 resident and migrant species! Altogether, there is a great mix of things to do.
