Victoria Falls Hotel allows you to step back in time and enjoy high tea in beautifully manicured gardens while taking in the view of the mighty spray coming off the Falls in the distance. Somalisa Camp is an authentic yet luxurious bush camp offering a knock-out safari experience. Kanga Camp is situated overlooking the Kanga Pan, the only inland water source for miles around. This camp really comes alive from July through to October.

Days 1–2 Victoria Falls

Stanley's Terrace

This trip starts with two nights at Victoria Falls Hotel. A charming hotel often referred to as the ‘Grand Old Lady’, this property offers a luxurious base from which to explore Victoria Falls and to enjoy the many activities on offer in the area. Victoria Falls Hotel really is a fantastic option for guests who like a sense of history where they stay. And for Afternoon Tea it is really hard to beat Stanley’s Terrace!

The hotel is booked on a B&B basis, and we can book activities, excursions and in some cases make restaurant reservations for you while you are in Victoria Falls. We suggest asking one of our consultants for their recommendations.

Days 3–6 Hwange National Park

After a few days in Victoria Falls, it is a two-and-a-half-hour drive to Hwange Main Camp before you are transferred on to Somalisa Camp. Owned by Beks Ndlovu – one of Africa’s best safari guides – Somalisa Camp focuses on an authentic yet luxurious safari experience in Hwange that is hard to beat. Located close to the Kennedy Vlei, the camp guarantees outstanding game viewing and the guiding is of an exceptionally high standard, really raising the bar on this classic highlights itinerary.

Days 7–9 Mana Pools

After a short two-hour light-aircraft flight, you arrive in Mana Pools, home to several of Africa’s best guides! Sister camp to Somalisa Camp, Kanga Camp continues to deliver on the luxurious yet authentic safari experience. Its remote location guarantees that elusive experience of unspoilt Africa. Due to its status as the only source of water all year round in this remote area of Mana Pools, nearby Kanga Pan is incredibly popular with wildlife and the Camp offers one of the best ‘armchair’ safaris in Africa from July through to October.
