The luxury Victoria Falls and Luangwa itinerary begins with the phenomenal Tongabezi in Livingstone, coupled with two camps in the secluded northern section of the South Luangwa National Park, Kakuli and Mchenja. Days 1–2 Victoria Falls

This luxury safari starts with two nights at Tongabezi which is one of the top lodges in the whole of Zambia. The rooms and suties all have incredible river views and being just 20 kilometers upstream from the Falls you are far away enough to have the peace and tranquillity of the river but you are also close enough that you feel like you can still do any of the activities based at the falls.

Tongabezi is sold on an all-inclusive basis with all meals, local beverages and selected lodge activities included. Some of the activities included at the lodge are a sunrise or sunset boat trip on the Zambezi, guided canoeing – depending on water and hippo levels, lunch on a local island with a guided walk, transfers to Victoria Falls, game drive in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, walking the gorge below the falls, cultural museum visit, local village visit and a mountain biking trail to the local village.

Days 3–5 South Luangwa – Kakuli Bush Camp

You arrive into Lusaka and fly with Proflight to Mfuwe Airport in the South Luangwa. You will be met on arrival by your guide from Norman Carr Safaris and transferred to Kakuli Bush Camp, where you will stay for three nights.

South Luangwa is undoubtedly the best walking destination in Africa! Adored by safari enthusiasts, this pristine wilderness teems with wildlife. Lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant… there are over 60 animal species and over 400 bird species! The scenery is truly spectacular, featuring majestic baobab, immense ebony forests and, of course, the Luangwa river itself. Excellent day and night game drives, awesome walking safaris… you are in for a treat!

Days 6–8 South Luangwa – Mchenja Bush Camp

This morning, you will take a game drive through South Luangwa Park before transferring to Mchenja Bush Camp, where you will spend four nights.

Activities at Mchenja include day and night-time game drives, as well as some very good walking safaris. The levels of guiding and service are some of the highest standards in the entire valley.

Full-board accommodation, including all meals and all game-viewing activities.

On Day 9, you will fly back to Lusaka to connect with your international flight.
