Huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles push up into the Serengeti’s Kogatende region during the period from July to October in their search for food, and their travels include dramatic river crossings. There’s a lot of other wildlife to observe too, not least all Big Five, numerous smaller mammals, and loads of birds.
