The Serengeti is awesome at this time of year, as the herds spread across the southern plains in readiness for the calving season! This safari offers great value as well as the guarantee of epic big game and some fabulous R&R on Zanzibar at the end.

During your vacation, you’ll stay in three superb properties. First up is Isoitok Camp, an authentic and intimate option with excellent access to some of the best safari areas within Tanzania’s famous Northern Circuit! After two nights here, you’ll fly to Kiota Camp in the South-Central Serengeti. This is a comfortable property that’s perfectly placed for you to observe the Great Migration herds as they amass on the national park’s southern plains. Finally, you’ll head out to Pongwe Beach Hotel, one of the most popular offerings on Zanzibar!

While you’re in the Ngorongoro Conservation Region, you’ll enjoy expertly guided game drives in both Lake Manyara National Park and the crater itself. Isoitok also provides wildlife walks and cultural experiences. Kiota offers vehicle safaris too, and the focus is very much following the huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles that make up the Great Migration. And Pongwe’s things to do include watersports, land-based activities, and lots of laidback beach time!
