This is a very stylish property that’s situated close to the city’s vibrant Kloof Street yet has a charmingly peaceful ambience. Next, you’ll travel to the Timbavati for three nights at Tanda Tula Safari Camp, a luxurious option in the heart of the wildlife-rich nature reserve! Days 1–3 Cape Town

On the first day of your trip, you’ll touch down at Cape Town International Airport, receiving a VIP Meet & Greet before travelling via private road transfer to Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel. Located in the City Bowl area, this property is just a short distance from Kloof Street, which is renowned for its shops, restaurants, and bars. The hotel was originally a farmhouse, and it was renovated in 1912 to its current Victorian style. The communal lounge and dining spaces have a nice Bohemian feel, while the courtyard garden at the back is ideal for relaxing between excursions into the Mother City and beyond – and there’s also an inviting swimming pool! The accommodation option we’ve chosen for you is the classic room, which features a king-size bed or twin beds, en-suite shower- or bathroom, and a great range of amenities, such as air conditioning and pre-stocked mini-bar. From this high-quality base, you’ll have excellent access to Kloof Street as well as many of Cape Town’s attractions, among them Table Mountain, the botanical gardens of Kirstenbosch, and the bustling V&A Waterfront.

Days 4–6 Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

On Day 5, you’ll leave Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel and return to Cape Town’s international airport via private road transfer. You’ll catch a flight to Hoedspruit Airport, from where you’ll have another private road transfer to Tanda Tula Safari Camp. This property has a lovely location along the banks of the Nharalumi riverbed. Its communal buildings, made out of timber and thatch, house a comfortable lounge, dining area, bar, and shop. There’s a boma too, and a swimming pool! Tanda Tula’s guest accommodation consists of 12 tents, each with a sturdy thatched roof. Every tent has a double bed or twin beds, en-suite facilities including outside shower, and a private deck with amazing views. Activities from camp focus on classic vehicle and walking safaris. This region of the Timbavati is characterised by savanna, woodland, and seasonal rivers, and it’s home to all Big Five ­– lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, and buffalo – as well as numerous smaller mammals and ample birdlife. And you can also enjoy some bush dining, even on the riverbed during dry season.

Days 7–9 Sabi Sand Game Reserve

The last part of your trip is spent in the Sabi Sands. You’ll travel from Tanda Tula Safari Camp to Dulini River Lodge via private road transfer. Situated on the banks of the Sand river, this property rests in the shade of ebony trees and has beautiful river views. Communal facilities include a sumptuous lounge with dining space, as well as a dining deck, boma, shop, and swimming pool! There are just six guest suites, each with spacious bedroom, separate seating area, en-suite full bathroom, and private deck complete with plunge pool. The lodge offers early morning and late afternoon game drives, in addition to bush walks. You can look out for all Big Five, plenty of smaller predators and herbivores, and all sorts of bird specials, including paradise flycatcher, redbilled oxpecker, and a variety of raptors too.

All-inclusive accommodation, featuring all meals, a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, twice-daily game drives, and once-daily bush walk. 

On the final day of your vacation, you’ll have a shared road transfer from Dulini River Lodge to Ulusaba Airstrip and you’ll fly to Johannesburg’s O. R. Tambo International Airport, arriving in good time for your flight/s home.
