Days 1–3 Cape Town

028 2inn1

The first three nights of the trip are spent at the stylish 2inn1 Kensington, a classically Victorian guest house located within walking distance of the funky Kloof Street. This great-value option offers a home away from home in a relatively quiet and upmarket residential area of Cape Town.

Board basis and activities:
The guest house is booked on a B&B basis and we can book activities, excursions, and in some cases make restaurant reservations for you while you are in Cape Town. We would suggest asking one of our consultants for their recommendations.

Leaving Cape Town, it is on to the picturesque vineyards of the Winelands for two nights, a region known for its impressive restaurants and world-class wines. Avondrood Guest House was built in the 1870s and this Victorian building was elegantly restored in 2011. Within walking distance of Franschhoek’s main street, Avondrood offers the ideal base from which to explore the Winelands within an affordable price bracket.

After five days exploring the Cape, it is on to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve for the start of your safari, to spend four nights at Lion Sands River Lodge. Lion Sands offers incredible value for money considering its high standard of service, level of luxury, and quality of guiding.

Board basis and activities:
Lion Sands River Lodge is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and shared scheduled safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives by day and night available as well as nature walks.

On Day 10, you will fly to Johannesburg in time for your international flight home.
