The properties we’ve selected offer a low single supplement in high season and no single supplement during the low-season months (Jan–Jun and Nov–Dec). Your trip begins at Ilala Lodge, which is the closest property to Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side! It is a grand building, with a friendly atmosphere. Next, you’ll stay at Chobe Elephant Camp, in Chobe National Park. This eco-style property is situated on a rocky bluff overlooking the Chobe river. And the final part of your adventure is based at Sango Safari Camp, which has a wonderful location just outside the predator-rich Moremi Game Reserve!

Ilala Lodge offers a superb base from which to enjoy Falls tours, watersports, scenic flights, and more. Once at Chobe Elephant Camp, you can explore the national park on expertly guided game drives and boat cruises. Village visits are available as well. Days 1–2 Victoria Falls

On Day 1 of your adventure, you’ll touch down at Victoria Falls Airport and have a private road transfer to Victoria Falls Town for Ilala Lodge. This very impressive property is situated just 10 minutes’ walk from the entrance to Victoria Falls National Park! Its communal areas include a sumptuous lounge and a restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor dining. There’s a spacious swimming pool too! You’ll stay in a Deluxe Room, an option that features air conditioning, overhead fan, satellite television, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, and amazing views towards the Falls. When you are ready to try out a few activities, you can just pop in to Ilala’s adventure booking centre. Here, staff members will be happy to advise you on how to make the most of your stay! Things to do include Falls tours, wild watersports, river cruises, scenic flights, and even a few animals encounters in the national park, such as lion walks and elephant rides.

Days 3–5 Chobe National Park

On the third day of your trip, you’ll transfer privately from Ilala Lodge to Victoria Falls Airport and fly to Kasane Airport (1 hr/s 30 mins) before a shared transfer to Chobe Elephant Camp. This is an exceptionally good eco-style camp, occupying a lofty position atop a rocky bluff – views over the Chobe river and floodplains are spectacular! Inside the lodge, you’ll find a large open-plan lounge and dining area, with a reading corner and an inviting bar! All areas flow out into a traditional boma – from here, a pathway leads to a viewing deck that overlooks a busy waterhole. The deck has a swimming pool too! Guest accommodation consists of 12 guest chalets, all with comfy bed, en-suite facilities including indoor and outdoor showers, and a private veranda boasting amazing views. Activities centre on checking out the local wildlife on game drives and boat cruises. Chobe has the biggest elephant population in Africa! Other highlights here include huge herds of buffalo and zebra, in addition to lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog, giraffe, antelopes, and over 300 bird species. Walks through the local village are also available – this is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the Sibuya tribe.

Days 6–8 Okavango Delta

The last part of your trip is spent in the Okavango Delta! On Day 6, you’ll have a shared transfer to Kasane Airport and you’ll fly to Khwai Airstrip (1 hr/s 10 mins). From the airstrip, you’ll have a shared transfer to Sango Safari Camp. Sango is situated on the outskirts of Khwai village, a short distance from the Moremi Game Reserve. It’s a classic tented safari camp, featuring an open main area and six Meru-style guest tents. The main area is pleasantly positioned in the cool shade of trees and it contains a lovely lounge, dining space, and bar. In the grounds of camp, there is a traditional boma, a viewing deck, and a plunge pool! The views here are beautiful – floodplains, riverine forests, and dry woodlands support a real diversity of wildlife. Each Meru-style tent has a private veranda for guests to enjoy the scenery, as well as mosquito nets, reading lights, a digital safe, and en-suite facilities including an open-air bucket shower! Sango’s location between the Khwai river and the Moremi Game Reserve guarantees some superb safari activities. You can head out on day and night game drives, all-day game drives, and mokoro excursions. All Big Five species are in residence, as well as cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, antelopes, hippos, crocs, and many more! The bird count is very impressive, coming in at over 400 species. Sango also offers a two-hour cultural walk around Khwai village.

On the final day of your trip, you’ll return to Khwai Airstrip via shared road transfer and fly to Maun Airport (0 hr/s 30 mins) in time for your flight/s home.
