Days 1–3 Chobe National Park

The trip starts with two nights in the Savute Region of Chobe National Park, a game-rich area that is away from the crowded Kasane area of the park. Savute Safari Lodge is one of the finest camps in the area. Its unique selling point is the waterhole in front of camp, which regularly has visits from elephants and some of Africa’s biggest cats.

Savute Safari Lodge is booked on an all-inclusive basis including food, drinks, and safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives included in the price.

Days 4–6 Moremi Game Reserve

Leaving Chobe, we fly in to the Okavango Delta. Flights over the Okavango are nothing short of exceptional. Camp Xakanaxa is located in the game-rich Moremi Reserve, an area well known for its predators including all the cats. Camp Xakanaxa itself looks over the Khwai river and is renowned for its service and family atmosphere.

Xakanaxa is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives and boating safaris (subject to water levels) all included in the price.

Days 7–8 The Pans

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, botswana safari destinations

Your trip ends with a couple of nights focusing on the game-rich banks of the Boteti river, which forms the boundary of the Makadikgadi Pans. Leroo La Tau is a fantastic lodge that offers this unique experience at a very reasonable cost. Two nights here is the complement to the nights spent at Savute Safari Lodge and Camp Xakanaxa.

Leroo La Tau is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives by day and night available as well as walking and boating safaris (subject to water levels) – all included in the price.

On Day 9, you will fly back to Maun in time for your international flight.
