This safari involves the Linyanti, Khwai Private Reserve, and the Okavango Delta, and it uses some of our favorite camps in the country! You’ll enjoy day and night game drives, walks, boating, and mokoro rides – Botswana’s full range of activities.

The first property you’ll visit is Selinda Explorers Camp, in the Linyanti region. A top camp at YZ, one reason why we love it is the setting, amidst lovely riverine woods! Next up is Khwai Private Reserve’s Machaba Camp, which overlooks the Khwai river and is close to the predator-rich Moremi Game Reserve. Finally, you’ll head to Shinde Camp. This property has a wonderful location in the northern region of the Okavango Delta area, on an island on the edge of a lagoon. Together, these three camps provide a super safari with a great social feel!

Selinda Explorers offers expertly guided game drives, walking safaris, and weather-dependent canoeing trips. Machaba also provides guided drives and walks, as well as mokoro excursions and community visits. And once you’ve arrived at Shinde, you’ll enjoy day and night game drives, walks, motorboat trips, mokoro rides, and even fishing! (Please note, fishing is available from March to December every year.)

*Please note, this is just one example of a trip we could design for you. We tailor-make safari vacations that take you to the real Africa – no readymade tours or set departures. Do get in touch with one of our experts today to start creating your bespoke itinerary!*
