"A lovely camp, but Ghoha’s location an hour’s drive away from the Savuti marshes will be an issue for some, especially in the peak of the dry season when the game congregates around the area. A good camp nonetheless."

OVERVIEW:

Ghoha Hills is a tented camp in the Savuti private concession of Chobe. It has a strong focus towards responsible and eco-tourism and has been designed to be eco-friendly and runs entirely off solar power.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

Ghoha Hills Lodge is situated high in the Ghoha Hills near the Chobe River and has spectacular views of the surrounding bush and the river.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT GHOHA HILLS CAMP:

The main area has a thatched roof letting it blend into the background, while the bedrooms are made of canvas and built on raised wooden decks. There are a total of 11 guest tents set along the hillside, two of which are family tents, sleeping two adults and two children. They all have ensuite bathrooms and dressing areas.

ACTIVITIES AT GHOHA HILLS CAMP:

Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, guided walks near the camp, bird-watching and sky-gazing. The area has excellent game with elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, wild dog, zebra, giraffe and antelope as well as prolific birdlife.

*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
