Meet the Safari Experts
In our opinion it goes without saying that the best advice is born out of personal experience. We believe that simply having experience of a destination is not nearly enough. One trip to Tanzania does not make you an expert – far from it!
Our ‘Safari Specialists’
We have always employed the best specialists. We are very proud to say that our sales team is one of the most experienced in the industry and made up entirely of professional safari guides, camp managers, and/or people born and raised in Africa. Together they have guided safaris across the whole of ‘Safari Africa’ and they’ve worked in some of the continent’s most famous camps and lodges. It is this experience that makes the difference – you are dealing with genuine experts at Yellow Zebra and this guarantees successful safari design.
The ‘Client Experience’ team
Our Client Experience Team are some of our most experienced safari designers. The department focuses on the guest experience, fine-tuning clients trips with restaurant bookings, visa requirements, and any extra activities that are needed to complete a trip. The team also supports the sales team when they travel on trips themselves, looking after their clients and manning inboxes, etc. Along with our Operations team, they ensure our clients have all the backup support they could need in preparing for their safari.
Our ‘Operations’ department
Once you’ve finished designing your trip with Sales, ‘Operations’ takes over. This team is in charge of ensuring your trip goes flawlessly whilst you are on the ground in Africa. The work of Operations is meticulous and is as important, if not more so, than planning the safari in the first place! The team comes from some of Africa’s best safari companies. Ops members have worked for the likes of &Beyond, Londolozi, Wilderness Safaris, Robin Pope Safaris, Great Plains Conservation, Alex Walker’s Serian, The Bushcamp Company, and Selous Safari Company. You're in safe hands!
The ‘Product & Brand’ team
This highly experienced and knowledgeable team’s responsibilities include managing brand perception, making sure YZ and our clients are the first to know about new flight routes and property openings, implementing a high-quality standard throughout the company, and leading the way in systems management.
Our ‘Marketing’ department
‘Google’ Yellow Zebra, sign up to the newsletters, or check out the YZ social media channels – if you do, you’ll encounter the hard work that drives the Marketing Department. Day to day they coordinate all our technical and creative projects, from advertising to brochures and branding, to organising the annual YZ Photography Competition and press events, to publishing client blogs and photographs.
The ‘Accounts & Finance’ team
While the Operations team deals with the client side of payments, the Accounts department works with our suppliers to ensure a smooth process when dealing with companies on the other side of the world.
Our ‘Office Manager’
Possibly the most varied position within the team, the Office Manager ensures the smooth running of the office, provides general administrative/HR/health and safety/ IT support, keeps the team recycling properly, and plans the epic YZ social parties.
