  • Properties have good availability
  • Rates are significantly lower in November than during other months
  • There are hardly any other tourists at this time of year
  • Landscapes are stunningly green
  • November marks the start of the birding season, as migratory birds arrive
  • There are some superb opportunities for bird photography.

ANY LOWLIGHTS?

  • In high rainfall areas, some properties close down
  • Short yet heavy rain showers occur throughout the month
  • Wildlife can be harder to spot behind the thick foliage
  • Gorilla tracking can be challenging in the wet weather conditions
  • This is not the best month for visiting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
  • Mosquitoes are present especially in areas like Bwindi, Kibale and Murchison.
