When To Visit Cape Town:

"Located away from Cape Town’s more popular attractions, The Vineyard is a great property in the quieter Newlands part of the city. A very good option if you’re staying away from the tourist hotspots, and a reliable luxury hotel."

OVERVIEW:

For people wanting to visit Cape Town easily, but also feel away from the crowds, you cannot go wrong with this property. The Vineyard is a lovely hotel with a range of different room categories and a great location slightly out of the somewhat hectic city centre. It is also an excellent family hotel for families with younger children.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

The Vineyard Hotel is located in the leafy suburb of Newlands, within a short walk of the Cavendish shopping mall and not far from the famous Kirstenbosch Gardens.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT VINEYARD HOTEL:

The Vineyard estate originally belonged to Lady Anne Barnard, and over 200 years later still retains its original charm. With 207 rooms, newly-designed and stocked with artwork by leading South African artists, it offers a range of options to suit couples, families and groups alike. It also has three restaurants, two pools of which one is an indoor heated pool, a spa and fitness centre.

ACTIVITIES AT VINEYARD HOTEL:

Its seven acres of garden are particularly lovely and set against the fabulous backdrop of Table Mountain. Guests can breakfast or lunch on the terrace outside, watching the occasional family of guinea fowl wander by and feasting their eyes on Table Mountain above - it is a wonderfully relaxed setting. This is something we'd highly recommend to try during your free time, that is when you are not exploring Table Mountain, Cape Town's city centre, the Winelands' incredible vineyards and South Africa's whale-studded coast.
